Questions

01

Primary sources come first

Every guide starts with the body that owns the rule: a state DMV, a public lands agency, a rail operator, a veterinary or food-safety authority. We read the current published version before we write. Secondary coverage is used to find questions, not to settle them.

02

No invented numbers

We do not publish statistics, ratings, success rates or prices unless we can point to the page they came from. If a figure is an estimate, the guide says so and explains the range. We do not fill a layout with numbers to look authoritative.

03

Local variation is stated, not hidden

Driving rules, tipping norms and park policies differ by state and by operator. Where advice is not national, the guide names the variation and links to the office that resolves it. A general answer that hides a local exception is a failure.

04

Corrections are public and dated

When a reader or an editor finds an error, we fix the page and move the revision date. We do not quietly rewrite a page and leave the old date in place.

05

Advertising stays out of the writing

No brand pays for a mention, a ranking or a review. If advertising appears on the site, it is labelled and kept away from the body of a guide. Search results follow the publication date, and nothing is promoted.

06

Advice has a boundary

We explain processes and conventions. We do not replace a driving examiner, a veterinarian, a lawyer or a park ranger. Guides say where professional judgment is required, and the disclaimer repeats it.

Corrections policy

Send the page address, the sentence you believe is wrong, and the source that shows otherwise. We aim to reply within five working days, and we will tell you what we changed.
